Our Story (La Nostra Storia)

Italian American Designs was inspired by our family's love for our Italian Heritage. Officially launched as an independent website in 2024, our product line was incubated along our family's journey to be recognized as Italian Citizens through the bloodline of our ancestors that (legally) immigrated to America in the late 1890's.

What started as a more personal journey for myself and our two adult children... quickly expanded to an application for 20 of us, as several of our first, second and third cousins joined our application to be recognized as Italian Citizens. What a blessing to reconnect with them. We were raised on opposite coasts (CA & NJ), so we really couldn't easily get together for Sunday Pasta growing up!

Meet the Head of Our Famiglia!

I never got to spend time with my great-grandfather... PHYSICALLY. But thanks to the stories and traditions my family shared, I do FEEL like I knew him! That is why celebrating and preserving our Italian American Heritage is so important to me and mia famiglia (my family). We hope our products encourage others to do the same - celebrate your Italian American Heritage every chance you get and preserve your family traditions for generations to come!
